Biography

The Jewish Studies Program is a multi-disciplinary gathering of the various courses in Jewish history, religion, literature, and culture offered at Dartmouth. We also sponsor special course offerings (including those by the annual Brownstone Lecturer) and a variety of academic activities related to the discipline. The program currently offers a minor.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains correspondence, hotos, pamphlets, course listings, publicity, schedules, external review files, job descriptions, compensation information and position comparisons.

The records document the administration of the Department of Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College and includes material on events, workshops, lectures, conferences, regional seminars, 1st Year Seminar, Jewish Studies Committees, and off- campus events.
