Biography

Tragara Press was founded by Alan Anderson (1954-1979) in 1953, in Edinburgh, Scotland, naming it after a corner of the Island of Capri. The press specialized in fine printing, particularly of less well-known pieces of late nineteenth and early twentieth century British authors. It closed in 1991.
