Biography
In 1905, President Tucker and Ernest Martin Hopkins '01, and the first secretary of the College, invited the secretaries of each graduated class came to come back to Hanover for the purpose of forming an organization among themselves. A first action of the Secretaries Association was to established the "Dartmouth Alumni Magazine." After the historic 1905 meeting, the Secretaries Association began to develop class and alumni club organization to better conduct alumni activities.
