Biography
The Committee on Administration was established ca. 1896 to to oversee issues and actions formerly handled by the faculty, like absences, dropping classes, academic and conduct violations, and discipline. The committee changed its name circa 1968 to the College Committee on Standing and Conduct (CCSC), and again circa 1982 to the Committee on Standards (COS).

Scope and Contents
The collection contains meeting minutes and hearings of the College's disciplinary committee, under its various names: Committee on Administration, College Committee on Standing and Conduct (CCSC), and Committee of Standards (COS). CCSC and COS meeting materials and hearing files will also appear as Series 1724 within the records of the Dean of the College.
