Biography

The Dartmouth Dining Association originated in 1901 as a private eating club in the newly-built Commons, now known as the Collis Center. Today it goes by the name of Dartmouth Dining Services.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains historical ledgers documenting foodstuffs received at the DDA storeroom, recording quantities, cost, and supplier. Journals documenting food supplied to College organizations and personnel as well as accounts with members are also included. Time journals documenting employees' hours worked can also be found here.
