Graduate Club of Hanover
Biography
The Graduate Club of Hanover was founded in 1910 and had shortly after over one hundred charter members. They renovated the Patterson house for their puposes. Membership was open "to all those with the usual University Club qualifications and to anyone connected with the College." Early members were primarily faculty. In the first 20 years the Club provided activities such as receptions after faculty meetings, presentations on expedition abroad, current events or scholarly topics. By the 1950s the Club was in decline.
