Biography
Founded in 1973 The Black Underground Theater and Arts Association (BUTA) seeks to create alternative theatrical venues and perform pieces not typically represented within the Dartmouth community. BUTA is open to all members of the community. They operate on a pinnacle of social justice and serve as a collection of voices of all Black artists.
