Biography

The Waterville Valley Association whose purpose was the management of a vacation resort in Waterville. It was formed as a result of guests to the area incorporating in order to protect it from being changed and "developed" as a facility beyond their means. David Sands Austin, 2nd (1800-1954), Dartmouth Class of 1904 was the lessee and manager of the properties from 1920-1939.
