Thetis (Ship) (1881-)
Biography
The 'Thetis" was build in 1881. She was originally a Dundee whaler and was bought by the United States Navy for duty in connection with the Greeley relief expedition. In 1900, she was transferred to the Revenue-Cutter Service for duty in Alaskan and Arctic waters.

"Thetis," whaler. Consist of logbook chronicling the 1910 voyage from Dundee, Scotland to Newfoundland and Greenland.
