Biography
The Robertson Family Mills were founded in 1820 by William Robertson who had sold his mill in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Putney, Vermont where he made paper by hand. Family members involved with the running of the mills include Edwin C. Robertson (1852-1920), Frank W. Robertson (1845-1914), George Robertson (1822-1882), George A. Robertson (1850-1916), John Robertson (1824-1884), Orren C. Robertson (1854-1922), William Robertson (1793-1860)
