Biography

Webster-Sanborn family represented here include: Ezekiel Webster (1780-1829) and his wife Achsah (Pollard) Webster (1801-1896), their children Mary Ann (Webster) Sanborn (1816-1864) and Alice Bridge (Webster) Whipple (1815-1876), as well as Mary Ann's husband Edwin David Sanborn (1808-1885) and their children Katherine Abbott Sanborn (1839-1917),Edwin Webster Sanborn (1857-1928), Mary Webster (Sanborn) Babcock (1845-1910), and her husband Paul Babcock (b. 1841). Edwin David Sanborn graduated from Dartmouth College in 1832 and became a professor at Dartmouth College. His son Edwin Webster Sanborn graduated from Dartmouth College in 1878 and became a lawyer.
