Biography

John Christian "Chris" Miller (born 1942 in Brooklyn) is an American author and screenwriter. He is best known for his work on National Lampoon magazine and the film Animal House, which he also acted in with co-writer/actor Douglas Kenney.The latter was inspired by Miller's own experiences in the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity at Dartmouth College, in which he went by the name "Pinto". Miller graduated from Dartmouth in 1963.

Content Description

The papers of Chris Miller contain print-out proofs of his 2006 book "The Real Animal House" as well as personal letters from friends and family and emails from former Alpha Delta Phi fraternity brothers. The emails concern recollections his fraternity brothers had concerning the years that they were students at Dartmouth College. Also included is some research material, note cards and a 16mm reel of film titled: "Animal House Product Reel."
