Biography
G.A. (George Alfred) Henty (1832-1902), English author and newspaper correspondent. Wrote many children's and historical fiction books such as "Out on the Pampas", "The Young Buglers" and "With Clive in India". Attended Cambridge University, was a Captain in the British Army and a foreign correspondent for the 'Standard' newspaper.
