Elizabeth Barrett Browning (née Moulton-Barrett) (6 March 1806 – 29 June 1861) was an English poet of the Victorian era, popular in Britain and the United States during her lifetime.

Four-page letter from Elizabeth Barrett Browning in London to John Kenyon, telling him that she sends him the book "Prometheus Bound" with the poem "The House of Clouds" written in. She will write to Duncan, the publisher, to send him the book "An essay on mind with other poems," which she requests that he not circulate. Also thanks him for proposing to take her sister Henritetta to Strawberry Hill. Tipped onto T.P. of "An essay of mind."
