Biography

Jean Ann Drever Pinkham was born in 1849 in Lower Fort Garry, Manitoba. She was the first organist in the old Holy Trinity Anglican Church of Winnipeg and was one of a group of women who helped to found the Winnipeg General Hospital. The family moved to Calgary in 1887 when her husband, Rev. William Cyprian Pinkham, became Archbishop of Saskatchewan and Calgary. She died there on January 3, 1940.

Jean Ann Pinkham (1849-1940), wife of the Bishop of Saskatchewan. Consist of a typescript of Mrs. Pinkham's reminiscences of her life in Manitoba. Includes some newspaper clippings and photographs.
