Whiting, Alfred Frank, 1912-1978
Biography
Alfred Whiting was born on May 22, 1912 in Burlington, VT. He graduated with a BS from the University of Vermont in 1933. He was hired by Dartmouth College as the Curator of Anthropology in 1955. He retired in 1974 and died in 1978 Flagstaff, Arizona.
