Ballard, William Whitney, 1906-1998
Biography
William Ballard was born on April 4, 1906 in Colrain, Mass. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a BS in 1928. In 1930 he was hired by the college as Professor of Biology and Anatomy. He also served as Associate Director of Great Issues from 1948-1950. He retired with Emeritus status in 1984. He died in 1998.
