Biography
William Carter was born on November 5, 1899 in Washington DC and was a member of the Class of 1920 at Dartmouth. He taught economics at Dartmouth College from 1928-1966. He also served as the Director of Great Issues and was Ombudsman from 1971-1972. He was also a member of the Committee on Educational Policy from 1954-1959. He died in 1972 in Sun City, AZ.
