Ives, Almon Bingham, 1909-1991

 

Biography

Almon Ives was born on July 12, 1909 in Bloomington, Indiana. He graduated with an AB from Illinois Wesleyan College in 1931 and was hired by Dartmouth College in 1939 as member of the Speech Department. He retired as Professor of Speech Emeritus in 1984. Almon Ives died May 18, 1991 in Hanover, NH.
