Biography
L. Dean Pearson was born on Oct. 12, 1891 in Hartford, CT. He graduated from Williams College in 1914 and was hired by Dartmouth College as a member of the English department in 1921. In 1937 he received an honorary degree from Dartmouth and retired in 1959 with Emeritus status. L. Dean Pearson died in 1987 in Cornish, NH.

The oral history interview of L. Dean Pearson is comprised of one audiocassette recording and a tape log of the recording. The interview was conducted by Arthur M.
