Riegel, Robert Edgar, 1897-1983

 

Biography

Robert Riegel was born on Dec. 4, 1897 in Reading, PA. He graduated from Carroll College in 1919 and was hired by Dartmouth College as a member of the Citizenship Department in 1922 and became a member of the History Department in 1934. He retired in 1964 as Professor of History Emeritus. Robert Riegel died in Hanover, NH in 1983.
