Biography
Carl Wilson was born on Aug. 8, 1897 in Springfield, OH. He graduated from the University of Denver in 1919 and was hired by Dartmouth College as a member of the Biology Department. He received an honorary degree from Dartmouth in 1935 and retired in 1963 as Professor of Biology (Botany) Emeritus. He died in 1986 in Hanover, NH.
