Biography
John Wolfenden was born on March 28, 1902 in Failsworth, England. He graduated from Oxford in 1922 and was hired by Dartmouth College as Professor of Chemistry in 1947. He retired with New Hampshrie Emeritus status in 1967 and died in White River Junction, VT in 1989.
