Biography
Cora Miranda Baggerly Older was born in 1875 in New York. She was a novelist and horticulturist. While attending Syracuse University she and some friends traveled west to California. There she met Fremont Older, a newspaperman in San Francisco. They were married in 1893. She and her husband were part of San Francisco's society. They would entertain friends and political figures at their home near Cuperteno. Older died in 1968.
