Biography

William Amherst Coult Converse was born on April 30, 1830. He attended Thetford Academy and graduated from Dartmouth Colelge in 1857. After graduation he became a teacher in Toldedo, Ohio (1857-1868), Ypsilanti, Michigan (1869-1870). Converse became an ordained pastor 1887 and preached at Piermont and Lyme, New Hampshire. He died in 1912.
