Biography

Hesketh Gibbons Pearson was born on February 20, 1889 in Hawford, England. He was an actor, theatre director and writer and was mainly popular for his biographies. Publications include "Modern Men and Mummers" (1921), "Doctor Darwin" (1930), "Gilbert and Sullivan: A Biography" (1935), "Oscar Wilde: His Live and Art" (1946) and many others. Pearson died on April 9, 1964.
