Biography

Robert Steele was a British scholar, best known for editing between 1905 and 1941 the 16-volume "Opera hactenus inedita Rogeri Bacon." He died in 1944.

Abstract

Robert Steele (1860-1944), British scholar. The collection contains research notes and draft of an essay on John Dee, together with transcripts of manuscripts from the Bodleian and British Libraries. The material was probably created by Robert Reynolds Steele.
