Banning, Kendall, 1879-1944

 

Biography

Kendall Banning was born on September 20, 1879 in New York City. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1902 and became a writer of over a dozen book and an editor at "Cosmopolitan" Magazine, "Popular Radio" Magazine and "Hearst Magazine." Publications include "Censored Mother Goose Rhymes" (1926), "West Point Today" (1937) and "Annapolis Today" (1938). Banning died in 1944.

Abstract

Kendall Banning (1879-1944), poet and magazine editor. Dartmouth College Class of 1902. The collection contains the typescripts with handwritten corrections and printer's notations of his books "West Point Today" (1937) and "Annapolis Today" (1938).
