Abstract

Joseph Seeley Dolson (1825-1893), physician. The collection contains Joseph Seeley Dolson's correspondence primarily with his wife describing life as an Army surgeon detached from the 161st N.Y. Volunteers, stationed at Baton Rouge. Tintype photographs of Dolson, carte-de-visite size photoprint of the Army hospital at Baton Rouge, and obituary notices are also included.
