Gannon, Joseph William, 1873-1967

 

Biography

Joseph William Gannon was born on November 17, 1873 in Concord, New Hampshire. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1899. From 1915-1922, he was a member of the Alumni Council and in the 1940s and 50s, he was the chief of the censorship department of the "New York Times." Gannon died in 1967.
