Biography

Thomas Coleman Searle was born on January 15, 1787 in Massachusetts. He graduated from Dartmouth College 1812. In 1816 he married Annette Woodward, daughter of Bezaleel Woodward. In 1819, Searle went to Indiana and opened an academy at Madison but died prematurely in 1821 at the age of 32.
