Stanley P. Miner was born on November 5, 1899 in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1922 after which he started his career at the New York Telephone Company, first as a metropolitan traffic superintendent and later as a personnel executive. Miner was the first president of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Northern New Jersey as well as president of the Club Officers Association and a head agent for the Alumni Fund. Miner died on September 20, 1988.
