Biography
Charles Morris Cone was born on August 30, 1854 in Hartford, Vermont. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1875 and Smith College in 1879. From 1879-1889 he studied at John Hopkins University and in 1879 in Heidelberg, Germany. Cone was the treasurer and manager of the Hartford Woolen Mills. He died in 1935.
