Biography

Burt Randall Cooper was born May 14, 1888 in Nottingham, New Hampshire. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1911 and from Harvard Law School in 1914. Admitted to the bar that same year, Cooper entered the office of Judge Leslie P. Snow where he was made a partner in the farm along with Conrad Snow. Throughout his life, Cooper was involved with many organizations and associations including the American Bar Association, Strafford County and New Hampshire Bar Association, the Governor's Council (1935-1937), the New England Conference on Probation and Parole and Crime Prevention, the State Industrial School and the NH Citizen's Council. Cooper died in February 17, 1959.
