Biography
Harold Putnam Hinman was born on November 25, 1887 in Stratford, New Hampshire. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1910. In 1914, he became treasurer of the Barre Quarries and Manufacturing Association. He left Barre to become sales manager for the Boutwell, Milne and Varnum Company of Montpelier, Vermont. Hinman was a member of the Dartmouth Alumni Council. He died in 1964.
