Biography
Edmund Arthur Freeman was born on March 28, 1889 in Sharon, Vermont. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1913 after which he became the librarian for the Bureau of Railway Economics in Washington, DC. He died in 1969.

Edmund Arthur Freeman (1889-1969), librarian. Dartmouth College Class of 1913. The collection contains letters to Ray Tobey concerning his activities over a period of 38 years. Includes material on Dartmouth College and alumni activities, construction of buildings at Dartmouth, his work with the Bureau of Railway Economics as a librarian, and schools where he and Tobey taught.
