Biography
Harvey Klevar is a retired member of the faculty of Luther College, Iowa, who in the early 1970s began preliminary research that would lead to a biographical study of Erskine Caldwell. For more than 20 years, he read, interviewed, wrote and worked with the Caldwell, his family, his friends and colleagues, and others who had been in contact with Caldwell.
