Biography

Hamilton Vaughn Bail, a graduate of Harvard College, Class of 1913, and former officer of the Franklin Institute of the State of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, gathered and compiled this material relating to the history of the town of Hertford which later became Hartland, Vermont. Mr. Bail and his wife, Virginia, were residents of Hartland for several years.
