Biography

Charles Milton Pearson was born in 1920. He came to Dartmouth College in 1938, and graduated with the class of 1942. He was a member of the Dartmouth Squadron which started training at Squantum Naval Air Base one month after graduation in June 1942. He later trained at Jacksonville and at Lee Field, in Florida, where he was commissioned and assigned to an aircraft carrier in the Pacific. He was reported missing in action on March 30, 1944 while serving on the aircraft carrier Enterprise.
