Diary of Lucy M. Vilas. Entries recorded at Morristown, Cambridge, Sterling, Reading, Johnson, Jeffersonville and Royalton, Vermont as well as a few sites in New Hampshire. Most entries recorded on Sundays and detail sermons. Vilas was a traveling Sunday school teacher for children.

Abstract
A diary of entries from 1812-1824, compiled and transcribed in 1828 by the author. Entries record Vilas' thoughts on sermons, deaths of family members and friends, and travel. Of note is an account of hearing the cannon fire from the battle of Plattsburgh, some 40 miles away on Lake Champlain.
