Biography

Louis Miano (b. 1934) was a member of the Dartmouth College Class of 1955. While at Dartmouth, he was a member of Phi Delta fraternity. Miano went on to receive a Master's degree in English literature from Columbia University in 1958. He then worked as a writer for TV Guide (1958-59) and Look Magazine (1959-61). He became an editor at Show Magazine in 1961 (theater editor, 1961-62; west coast editor, 1962-63). Miano then wrote at ABC-TV from 1963-65. He became a part of AC&R Advertising in 1965 (writer, 1965-69; copy chief, 1967-69; creative director, 1970-; executive vice president, 1976-). He currently resides in New York City.
