Biography

Julius (Jay) Rosenthal Wolf was born on March 25, 1919. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1951. After graduation he went to New York and spent the next three years in publishing, public relations and advertising before he became a theatrical agent, first with the Frank Cooper Agency and then with General Artists, eventually becoming its vice-president. In 1968, Wolf moved into casting for films and television and at the time of his sudden death at age 47, was a casting consultant for ABC Television. Wolf died of a heart attack on June 11, 1976.
