Mattila, Robert
Biography
Robert Mattila graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in 1963, and an M.A. In German literature in 1966. Upon graduation he joined the staff of the Shorey Book Store, Seattle, Washington. In 1976, he went into business for himself, dealing mainly in polar materials. His interest in Stefansson began when he read "The Friendly Arctic."
