Biography
Jonathan Hatch Hubbard was born May 7, 1768 in Tolland, Connecticut. At the age of 11, Hubbard moved with his family to Claremont, New Hampshire. He studied law in Charlestown, NH and was admitted to the bar in 1790, after which he began practicing law in Windsor, Vermont. He was a member of Congress from 1809-1811 and Supreme Court judge in Vermont from 1813-1815. Hubbard died in 1849 in Windsor, Vermont.
