Biography
Azel Washburn was born on April 26, 1764, in Middleborro, Massachusetts. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1786, after which he studied theology. He was ordained pastor of the church in Royalton, Vermont in 1789. Washburn died on April 15, 1841 in Royalton.
