Cutting, Raymond, 1884-1960

 

Biography

Raymond Cutting was born on July 2, 1884, in Northfield, Vermont. He started his college career at the University of Vermont, but transferred to Dartmouth College in his senior year. He graduated from Dartmouth in 1906. After graduation, Cutting worked for the Adirondack Ozonia Water Company before moving to New York City to work for the New York Telephone Co. He resigned from the company in 1911, due to poor health. Later on he engaged in lumbering operations in Tupper Lake, N.Y. Raymond Cutting died in Montpelier, Vermont on December 20, 1960.

Raymond Cutting (1884-1960). The correspondence consists of letters and ephemera relating to Cutting's time at Dartmouth College and his later activities with the Office of Alumni Affairs.
