Biography
Samuel Fletcher was born July 31, 1785. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1810. After graduation he became a lawyer in Concord, New Hampshire. He was elected at trustee of Philips Academy in 1839 and held that position until his death. From 1841-1850, he was treasurer of the Academy. Fletcher died on October 28, 1858.
