Biography
Simeon Moses Fox was born on August 28, 1841 in Lansingville, New York. Simeon attended Genesee College and enlisted in the Kansas 7th Cavalry as a Private in 1861. After the Civil War, he established the first bookstore in Manhattan, Kansas. In 1908, he completed his genealogical compilation of the first five generations of the descendants of Thomas Fox of Concord, MA. Fox died on March 6, 1938.
