Biography
Stephen Jacobs was born in 1755 in Sheffield, Massachusetts. He received an AB from Yale in 1778 but also attended Dartmouth College in 1803. As a lawyer, he was a judge for the County Court in Vermont from 1778-1801 and a judge of the Vermont Supreme Court from 1801-1803. He died on Jan 27, 1817.
