Biography
Obadiah Hosford Tillotson was born on May 9, 1816. He attended Montpelier, Vermont High School after which he studied for the ministry with Rev. S.C. Loveland. Tillotson was ordained in Bath, Vermont in 1838. From 1838 to 1851, he was a pastor in Woodstock, Vermont, Claremont and Lyme, New Hampshire and Methuen and Worcester Massachusetts. From 1853 to 1863, he was pastor in Hartford, Connecticut and Northfield, Vermont. Tillotson died on June 19, 1863.
